Postgraduate Diploma in European Baking and Pastry Arts - Postgraduate Diploma in Swiss European Culinary Arts
The aim of this unit is to enable students to gain knowledge of the equipment, commodities and methods required to prepare and cook/bake Swiss and European Breads, Pastries, Cakes, Desserts and Chocolates, styles of buffet and plated desserts, that are created in Europe and develop skills in preparing, cooking and reviewing European dishes under the high Swiss standards of hygiene and food safety. To this, the unit will deal with the equipment, commodities and preparation methods that are necessary in order to be able to plan, prepare and cook a range of European dishes.
Eligibility
- Candidates for the Postgraduate Diploma must be a minimum 20 years of age, hold a hospitality, culinary or related qualification at Bachelors or Postgraduate level and/or have professional kitchen experience of at least two years.

MSc International Hospitality and Events Management
HTMi brings the expertise of world class Swiss Hospitality training combined with our advanced Events management practical studies to offer an industry approved Masters qualification. This programme will prepare the student for the industrial workplace that specializes in the management of a range of Events and their practical delivery.
The programme consists of 8 core modules and a final dissertation that will be supervised by one of our Event and/or Hotel Management academic specialists and guidance provided from concept to final submission.
The programme can be completed within a one-year period and will be followed by an opportunity to participate in an Industrial Attachment. Our HTMi Careers Centre will also be on hand to offer expert guidance after graduation and indeed our industry career platform HOSCO will be available to graduates for life.

Internships are also a way to get your feet wet and find out if a specific department is where you could picture yourself as a long-term career after completing your degree. This is the reason, why every HTMi student should do a 6 – 12 month internship in Switzerland or Internationally after their on campus semester. The HTMi Centre for Career Placement & Career Development is supporting all students in choosing the right internship and orientating them in their continues career development.
The Centre for Career Management at HTMi connects with all major international hotel companies and places students, alumni and executives around the world. The Centre organises international hotel company recruitment events on campus and in our virtual meeting room, career trips for award-winning students to leading hotel centres around the world and provides job searching and career advancement skills and support for all students and graduates.

HTMi Campus, normally has students from 30-35 nationalities world-wide, and all are welcome to our international family. Students come from all different parts of world to join us and so we do everything possible to make HTMi their second home. We have a very student family–centered culture. Students have a wide access to sporting facilities including on-campus and nearby including: tennis, swimming, basketball, fitness center, skiing, snow boarding, golf, ping pong, billiards, or just enjoy the great outdoors by walking, running, biking or hiking in one of the worlds most beautiful natural environments in this UNESCO Biosphere.
