The structure of the Bachelor in Hospitality programme can be distinctly divided into 3 years :

YEAR 1 – LE BOUVERET

Consisting of 2 terms, with each term being 11 weeks long.

Term 1 focuses on topics such as introduction to Hospitality and Tourism Management, Management Information Systems, Personal Development and Life Skills etc; along with Language 1 ( either French or German).

Term 2 focuses on topics such as Fine Dining Operations and Management, Business Writing, Mathematics for Hospitality Business and the Language 2 ( either French or German ). This term also includes an internship either in Switzerland or abroad for a span of 4- 6 weeks.

YEAR 2 – LE BOUVERET AND BRIG

This year at the Bachelor in Hospitality programme consists of 3 more terms in addition to prior ones each spanning 11 weeks with Term 3 and Term 4 being Bouveret and Term 5 being Brig.

Term 3 focuses on Rooms Division Operations, Current Global and Social Issues, Business Statistics etc.

Term 4 focuses on Hospitality Business Ethics, Hotel and Restaurant Design, Macroeconomics for the Tourism Industry, Managerial Accounting etc.

Term 5 focuses on Hospitality and Tourism Law, International Politics, Food, Beverage, and Events Management, Decision Analysis for Entrepreneurs etc. This term also includes an internship in Switzerland or abroad spanning from 4- 6 months.

YEAR 3 – BRIG

In your final year of the Bachelor in Hospitality programme, put your knowledge into practice by participating in the Business Plan Competition. Present your entrepreneurial ideas to a panel of judges, who are themselves, successful entrepreneurs. Finalists get to travel to the US and compete alongside other Washington State University undergraduates from around the world.

To make the experience of the students more pleasant and stress-free, Cesar Ritz offers a 40% scholarship for students pursuing their Bachelor in Hospitality through the July 2022 intakes.
